Beyond the widely shared difficulty to move in the territory and transport supply deficiency common observation, this study under the In.FLOW.ence project analysis, in terms of transport, two major legislative changes underway that are creating the metropolis and the revision of the Urban Mobility Plan of the Urban Community of Marseille Provence Métropole.
The Mediterranean Institute also submitted its opinion on the revision of MPM Urban Transport Plan as part of the public inquiry, which ended May 17, 2013.

The last meeting of SMILIES project took place in the final conference Rethymno March 19, 2012. Significant work has been done in the last months of the project to collect and format all the results obtained during two and half years of rich collaborations between companies, project partners, local and regional authorities and agencies to support the innovation, especially in the pilot areas of the project.

For over two years, the CATMED network that brings together cities of Malaga, Seville, Valencia, Barcelona, Marseille, Community of Pays d'Aix, Genoa, Turin, Rome Athens and Thessaloniki, worked on the definition of more urban models sustainable in the Mediterranean. The fruits of this research action that mixes definition and calculation of indicators and participatory approach around urban pilot projects are compiled in the final project document that you can download below.
