Online Video! Congress on the impact of the crisis on urban governance (project Inflowence, 12 November 2012)
November 12, 2012, the Institute of the Mediterranean, in collaboration with the Council for the Development of Marseille Provence Métropole, organized a conference that aimed to take stock of the concept of polycentric development and territorial cohesion across major cities Mediterranean.
On the occasion of this conference, interviews with stakeholders were conducted, focusing on four key topics that were discussed:
- The financial crisis and urban governance

In a crisis, but also hot news around the creation of the metropolis AIx-Marseille-Provence, the question of the city was at the heart of debates, especially since it also represents a model of governance urban system in our European neighbors.

4, 5 and 6 March 2013, the Polibienestar Institute of the University of Valencia (Spain) and the CVI (Instituto Valenciano of the isle) organized a three-day meeting GOUV'AIRNANCE project. The first day was an opportunity to share in a public meeting, bringing together more competent persons for air quality, from Valencia, Marseille (France), Tripoli (Lebanon) and Aqaba (Jordan).
The next two days were spent at the meeting of the Steering Committee of GOUV'AIRNANCE project and helped to present the progress of the project in the areas concerned.

Funded by the European Union Within the framework of the European project In.FLOW.ence, this conference HAS Gathered about 100 participants around In.FLOW.ence project partners, experts, decision-makers and Representatives of civil society, in order to Discuss thesis Intend to bring issues and solutions to the challenges Brought by the crisis on the polycentric urban systems of governance in the Mediterranean area.

The Mediterranean Institute has embarked on several projects funded by the program MED transnational cooperation. Every year, a big event is organized by the Joint Technical Secretariat of the MED Programme to review the projects and the future European programming. The Institute of the Mediterranean, through the activities of capitalization of its projects, actively taking part in these discussions.
