Transnational meeting GOUV'AIRNANCE project in Valencia (Spain)

4, 5 and 6 March 2013, the Polibienestar Institute of the University of Valencia (Spain) and the CVI (Instituto Valenciano of the isle) organized a three-day meeting GOUV'AIRNANCE project. The first day was an opportunity to share in a public meeting, bringing together more competent persons for air quality, from Valencia, Marseille (France), Tripoli (Lebanon) and Aqaba (Jordan).

The next two days were spent at the meeting of the Steering Committee of GOUV'AIRNANCE project and helped to present the progress of the project in the areas concerned.

On 12 November 2012, the Institute of the Mediterranean, in cooperation with the Development Council of Marseille Provence Métropole, Organized a congress aiming to review the concept of polycentricity and territorial coherence across major Mediterranean cities. Funded by the European Union Within the framework of the European project In.FLOW.ence, this conference HAS Gathered about 100 participants around In.FLOW.ence project partners, experts, decision-makers and Representatives of civil society, in order to Discuss thesis Intend to bring issues and solutions to the challenges Brought by the crisis on the polycentric urban systems of governance in the Mediterranean area.

MED program annual event in Cyprus - 24th and 25th Oct. 12

The Mediterranean Institute has embarked on several projects funded by the program MED transnational cooperation. Every year, a big event is organized by the Joint Technical Secretariat of the MED Programme to review the projects and the future European programming. This theme is particularly important this year because the discussions are underway on the future of the MED Programme for the period 2014-2020. The Institute of the Mediterranean, through the activities of capitalization of its projects, actively taking part in these discussions.

GOUV'AIRNANCE - Launch of Monitoring Committee Marseille - Tuesday, 3 July 2012
